So, here is the rest of the series. Issue 3 and up is where things really got crazy, and I got to go absolutely nuts with the colours. I was really starting to get the hang of the art at this point, and was really getting into the groove. I look back fondly on these pages. Anyway, enjoy! So, during my long lack of posting, I coloured Skottie Young's "I Hate Fairyland" (among many other things). This was quite possibly the most fun I've had working on any book so far, and I'm thrilled that it did well enough to warrant more issues.

It took many weeks and back-and-forth for me to come up with a style we were both happy with, and looking back at the early issues, it's funny to see how much more comfortable we had both gotten with the book by the end of the series. 

I'm going to try and post some choice pages from all 5 issues, starting with the first 2. Obviously, all artwork is by series writer and creator Skottie Young.

Rocket Raccoon #5 & 6

There I go falling off the face of the internet again! Anyway, let's continue our slow (painfully slow) journey through the Rocket Raccoon series. These two issues marked the debut of Jake Parker, who would take over art duties for the rest of the run (except for the next two issues). Luckily, the colouring style I used on the first 4 issues worked pretty well here, so there wasn't too much adjusting needed. At least, I think they came out alright enough-- though looking back I can definitely see some room for improvement.
