I recently played NieR: Automata, and I absolutely loved it. It's a beautiful, sad, amazing, and mind-blowing game. Furthermore, I have a huge crush on 2B, so I whipped up a quick sketch in her honor. Glory to Mankind.
Entirely done in Photoshop. Enjoy!

Green Valley #1
Last summer, I started working on Skybound's Green Valley. I'm just about to wrap up the 9 issue mini-series now, so I thought I'd share some of my colors-- let's start with the beginning, shall we?
As usual, I used a different approach for this book, but I quickly started to regret it. The problem is that I colored a sample page before anything else, which is standard procedure. However, this was a very simple page, so I foolishly used a very lavish and time-consuming method. While it looked good and impressed the rest of the creative team, it also meant that this project would be a massive time-sink, since more complicated pages would take far too much time to color. Even though I eventually streamlined some of the steps involved, and got more comfortable with the style over time, I still had to keep the look consistent throughout the series. All this complaining to say that this book has been really rough on me. With that in mind, people seem to like it, so I guess it's paid off.
Anyway, enjoy some choice pages from the first issue!
